How It Works

No lengthy proposal process, no retainer you have to commit to before you know if it's a good fit. Just a straightforward conversation, a clear scope, and work that starts when you're ready.

Step 1 - Let’s Talk

Everything starts with a short discovery call — usually 30 minutes. You tell me what’s going on, I ask a few questions, and we work out pretty quickly whether what I offer is the right fit for what you need. If it’s not, I’ll tell you honestly.

Step 2 - Scope & Proposal

If we’re aligned, I’ll put together a clear scope of work — what’s included, what the timeline looks like, and what it costs. No surprises, no scope creep without a conversation first.

Step 3 - We Get Started

Once you’re happy with the scope, we confirm and get moving. Most engagements begin within a week of sign-off. For retainer clients, we’ll agree a rhythm that works for both of us — regular check-ins, clear communication, and a working relationship that feels easy from day one.

What ‘fractional’ actually means

Fractional simply means part-time, project-based, or on-retainer — senior support without a permanent hire. You get access to the same calibre of thinking and experience you'd expect from a full-time Executive Marketing or Operations Lead, brought in for exactly as long as you need it.

It works particularly well for:

  • Leaders who need senior capacity for a specific project or period of transition

  • Founders who need strategic direction and a plan they can implement themselves

  • Teams going through operational change who need an experienced hand to guide and embed the process

Typical Engagements

Most project-based work runs 1–4 weeks, but entirely project dependent.

Retainer or advisory relationships are flexible by design, with regular reviews built in to scale support up, down, or extend the engagement as needed.

Day-rate work is available for shorter, defined pieces of support.
